Adam Doman is a graduate of North Carolina State University and currently resides in a small farming community outside of Roxboro, NC. Adam was interested in an investment career out of college and started as a Stock Broker with DLJ Direct located in Charlotte, NC. After a year with DLJ Direct he was recruited to the retail investment group at First Union Bank. This opportunity gave him a more consultative approach to discuss a diverse portfolio of services with First Union customers. Adam spent many years building his reputation & clientele therefore it wasn’t long before Founders Federal Credit Union recruited him to manage 11 branches as a Financial Planner and 401(k) Specialist. During his long tenure with Founders, Adam’s wife accepted a new position requiring relocation to the Durham, NC area. After relocation Adam started his own financial planning and 401k investment firm, NCF & Woodbury Financial Services.
Administaff/ Insperity was in process of expanding their operations in North Carolina and recruited Adam to assist in launching the Raleigh/ Durham market for PEO services. The “target” client was small businesses with 10 or more employees in the manufacturing, engineering, IT, law firms, physician offices and government contractors. While at Administaff Adam quickly discovered the PEO industry was a natural fit and he excelled rapidly. Adam grew the Raleigh office from last place of 48 locations to the #3 office in the country and achieved this within 18 months. Adam’s top achievements opened the door to work on a national level training other sales reps and turning around failing offices. Later in his career, Adam was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime which was to build & manage the first licensed PEO headquartered in the state of North Carolina. The triangle market is one of the fastest growing areas in the country for small businesses therefore it made perfect sense for PathGoal to call Raleigh their home.
